Black Nail polish… on one level, a fashion statement with less than optimistic connotations (straight up- it looks like Death). On a second level, black paint on the fingers has a past association with punk culture, KISS and the gamete of death rockers who in the past wore Black Nailpolish to look BADASS.. Now the rockers have no color to wear.. they are deliberating over Blood Red (How lively)..
Reality Check: Rich moms in their black toes and their daughters can wear chipped black nailpolish for the next 3 years… they will never achieve the “Rocker Badass Look” (they are going for) with the ugly statement of Nail Color alone..

Black nail polish is incredibly ugly and very unsexy. WTF!
And knotheads are buying into it, thanks to the marketing industry.
For some reason, it's ok on goths and rock artists like KISS, because there is a whole costume that goes with it (yea, I mean the goths too...it's like they wear costumes), but on "regular" women it is so effing ugly.
And what the hell is this trend where men are wearing nail polish?!
